The Zechman name has long stood as a symbol of dedication, quality workmanship, and trust within our community. In honor of Gilbert Zechman, whose reputation was built on decades of reliable service and loyal customer relationships, Vic Sprenkel proudly continues that legacy today.
This commitment is deeply personal to Vic. His father, Donald Sprenkel, worked alongside Gilbert as his right-hand man for an incredible 45 years—from 1964 to 2009. Together, they built more than just a respected business; they built lasting relationships and a legacy of integrity that became the foundation of the Zechman name.
Hands-On: Strong Work Ethic Shaped by Faith, Family, and Community
From the time Vic was only eight years old, he could be found in the field, learning the trade hands-on—surrounded by the same machinery, tools, and work ethic that defined his father and Gilbert’s decades of service. Those early lessons shaped his values and instilled a deep respect for hard work, honesty, and craftsmanship.
Today, Vic is the 3rd generation owner in the business being a former owner following Gilbert Zechman and Donald Sprenkel as highly respected men—not only in business, but in the community they served so faithfully. His mission remains simple yet meaningful in his new business Zechman Well Service to keep the Zechman name alive by serving every customer with honesty, skill, and respect—just as Gilbert and Donald did for generations.
